When my husband and I got married we decided to wait a few years before we have children. We wanted to have time to enjoy our marriage first. After four years of marriage we decided it was time to start trying. My husband was so eager to have children, but after 6 months of trying to fall pregnant I went to my gynaecologist for a check-up.
Surely it shouldn’t take that long? We thought wham-bam and there you have it – pregnant. But that was not the case. After my check-up, my genie told me I have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). I was confused and not entirely sure what it all meant in the long run. I eventually did a lot of research and read a lot about PCOS.
My cycles were a little irregular and I never quite knew when I was ovulating. I decided to see a Homeopath and he gave me Homeopathic medication to take for PCOS. I also started using the ovulation sticks that you urinate on to see whether I was ovulating. I hated it! It was such an emotional roller coaster because you only get 5 sticks in a box and you never know if you’re using them at the right time. It eventually became expensive as I would use 2 boxes in a month just to make sure.
Then one day my friend gave me Maybe Mom to use as it was given to her by a friend in Australia. I didn’t know this product so well, but I thought, “What’s there to lose”. So I started using Maybe Mom and was amazed at how well it worked. I could use it any time of the day when I wanted to and it saved me the big costs of the urine kits. I was so much more relaxed and didn’t feel anxious like I did when I would wait for two stripes to show. Every time those little ferns showed I knew that we had a chance. My husband had a small procedure done and once he was in the clearing I used Maybe Mom again to test my ovulation and before we knew it I was pregnant!
We were so over joyed by the news that it took a while for it to sink in. I have now lent my Maybe Mom to a friend that has also been trying for a long time and she just loves it as well.
It’s so cost effective and saves you the trouble of urinating on sticks.
When we are ready to start trying for our second child, Maybe Mom will be more like “Yeah Baby”.
